By the way, Kirsten won't labor or birth outsite the water. She says it makes all the difference in comfort. We rent the tub online and she says it's totally worth it! I kept thinking she could so do a commercial for Aqua Doula throughout her labor. She'd smile as she reported another contraction and forget she was having a contraction halfway through. P.S. For those of you worried about water in the baby's lungs upon delivery, it's completely safe. After all, the baby has been living in fluid for nine months, receiving all vitals (including oxygen) through the umbilical cord. Only after breaking the surface of the water does the baby begin to inhale through nose and mouth.
